It moves, it speaks

This book is a collection of talks I moderated during Notafe, interviews conducted by Erni Kask and a text by Jan Ritsema.

From the introduction:

The issue I wanted to talk about in the Notafe 2014 artists talking was collaboration. It is often stated that the performing arts are by nature collaborative as one rarely produces a work all by one self. In these talks I was interested in the experiences of people in different collaborative situations: person to person, organisation to organisation or the collaboration curated from above. What role does money’s presence or absence play? What does a collaborative process do to our notion of authorship? Is there a value or importance to combining our individual voices into one collective voice? Rather then asking the participants of the talks for a definition I wanted to invite them to speak from inside of the collaborative experience and possibly find a definition there.
